Abstract
Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease and is endemic in Saudi Arabia. Transmitted to humans by direct contact with infected animals or by consumption of unpasteurized dairy products. A 36-year-old Saudi man who presented with left hip pain, fever, and a positive history of unpasteurized milk. Sacroiliitis was documented by the positive results of Wright agglutination and magnetic resonance imaging. Treatment consisted of NSAIDs, doxycycline, rifampicin, and IV gentamicin
Biography
Sarah Mohammed Alshamrani completed her Board of Family Medicine 2020 and graduated from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. Working in National Guard Primary Health Care, she had research publications on different topics.
