Social rehabilitation and integration of disabled persons into society
Abstract
The integration of disabled people into society is a complex process that includes various forms of rehabilitation. The basis is medical rehabilitation, the aim of which is to achieve the best possible restoration of health. It is followed by social, pedagogical and occupational rehabilitation, which together form a comprehensive rehabilitation approach. Social rehabilitation helps to maintain contact with society, while occupational rehabilitation enables the acquisition of qualifications and employment in the labour market. Effective rehabilitation helps remove barriers that may prevent disabled people from fully participating in social and working life. An important part of this process is an individual approach that takes into account the specific needs of each person and uses modern therapeutic methods and technologies. We point out the importance of comprehensive rehabilitation and therapies in the integration of disabled people into society, because these measures play a key role in their physical, psychological and social development.
