From burnout to balance: Practical approaches for physician well-being
Abstract
Physicians, as the cornerstone of healthcare, face intense demands that can lead to significant stress and burnout. My presentation highlights the critical importance of physician well-being in ensuring highquality healthcare. It addresses the growing issue of physician burnout, which negatively impacts both healthcare providers and patient care. The talk will explore the causes of burnout, including systemic and personal challenges, and propose strategies to overcome it, such as institutional reforms, supportive workplace environments, and individual practices like mindfulness.
