Biography

Antonina Dunina-Barkovskaya has completed his PhD in 1989 at Moscow Lomonosov State University, Russia. She is a Senior Researcher at Belozersky Institute, Moscow Lomonosov State University, Moscow. Scientific collaboration: Stuttgart University, Germany; Amsterdam University, Holland; NIH, Bethesda, USA; University College London, UK. The field of professional interest includes cell biology, biophysics, cell membrane, cell–cell communications; gap junctions; tight junctions; ion transport; membrane fusion, endocytosis, phagocytosis. She has over 50 publications. Since 2006, she has been a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Biologicheskie Membrany (English version, Biochemistry (Moscow), Supplement Series A).
